Park Winters Wedding

Park Winters wedding

There’s something so magical about a Park Winters wedding. It’s like something out of a fairytale but only better because it’s real life!

Tucked among farmland and orchards of Northern California, this wedding venue has quickly become one of my favorite venues to support couples on their wedding day.

At Honeysuckle Traditions, I’ve planned weddings here in nearly every season- spring, height of summer and a cozy late fall. Each celebration of love has been completely unique and each one is a wedding I will forever cherish.

If you’re dreaming of elegance, lush gardens, and an elevated yet warm atmosphere, Park Winters is the venue you’ve been searching for.

About Park Winters Weddings

Park Winters’ grounds are absolutely stunning from every angle. The property offers so many spaces for guests to explore, from the sunken garden, organic farm, vibey pool, koi pond, oh the places you can explore are endless.

The historic five-star Inn is designed beautifully. It’s elevated and modern, yet neutral enough that your wedding color palette truly pops. You can reserve the Inn and Tower Suite for your wedding party or favorite people stay and end your wedding weekend all together the next day with a cozy brunch.

For getting ready, the couple has access to the Tower Suite, the Library or the Fountain Room. And the most playful part of getting ready onsite? You can relax by the pool, have an epic photo shoot with your wedding party. Or, if you want a more peaceful way to start your wedding day, step out onto the Library Balcony and soak in the view as you settle into the version of yourself that is becoming married to the love of your life.

As someone who grew up in the South and has a soft spot for hospitality, Park Winters is truly next level. Their staff is incredibly friendly, accommodating and genuinely wants you to feel like royalty the entire time you’re there.

And yes, it keeps getting better! The food is absolutely delicious. It’s the essence of California fine dining and I’m not exaggerating when I say it taste Michelin worthy.

As a wedding planner, it’s a dream venue. Every space is intentional, flexible, and beautifully designed. Making it effortless to create a seamless, elevated wedding day.

Park Winters Ceremony Spaces

The ceremony backdrops at Park Winters are endless! You can choose from the sunken garden, towering redwoods trees, the pecan tree, koi pond, on the front steps of the historic Inn, or even a location that speaks to your vision. No matter your style, there’s a love filled portal on this property that will make your ceremony feel magical.

I alway recommend offering guests a parasol or a handheld fan- especially for sunnier ceremony sites- to keep everyone cool and comfortable as they witnesses your “I do.”

Cocktail Hour By the Pool

Park Winters Cocktail Hour Reception

After your ceremony, your officiant will invite your guests over to cocktail hour, where they will be greeted with a tray passed signature cocktail, beer or wine.

The Event Bar Patio is spacious outdoor area with a beautiful built in bar. Guests can mingle, sip and enjoy the chic charm of the historic buildings surrounding them. If you are envisioning an outdoor dinner, this is also where your reception tables will be set up.

If you’s prefer to keep that space a surprise, I recommend hosting your cocktail hour by the pool. There is something instantly relaxing about gathering around a body of water. And to get into the pool area, guests walk through a stunning oversized door! Like opening the door into a secret garden. Park Winters also provides a few lounge seating options, stylish umbrellas, and a fire pit (best used during the cooler months.)

You can personalize this space with high top tables, lawn games, or any little details that make your wedding day radiate you.

Reception at Park Winters

After cocktail hour, your guests will be invited to take their seat for dinner. There are many creative ways to design your escort card display or seating chart, giving each guest a personal and welcoming touch into the next part of your wedding day.

Dinner can be served outside on the patio or inside the chic Event Barn. Even in the cooler months, moving guests indoors feels cozy without being cramped. When it’s time to dance, the Park Winters team is incredible at quickly transforming the space- moving tables out to create a spacious dance floor.

Park Winters provides round + long tables, white table linen, white garden chairs or the option to upgrade to crossback wooden chairs for a warmer elevated feel.

If you choose to dine outside, guests can move indoors for after dinner. The Event Barn’s high ceilings and welcoming wraparound porch make it easy to add fun guest experiences like a photo booth, ice cream cart, or coffee station while keeping everyone together and engaged in celebrating you. And don’t worry, they move the bar inside.

There is also a firewall area where guests can step outside during dancing to enjoy dessert and take in the star lit evening sky. The stars are incredible here! An experience you just don’t get in the City. If you’re lucky, you might even spot a shooting star. I personally witnessed a massive shooting star one evening right after the mother of the grooms speech. Truly such a blessing.

At the end of the evening, your guests can create the tunnel of love as you and you partner soak in the final moments of your private dance together. As your wedding planner, I will help position your guest, distribute send off details, and even step in as your photographer if needed. This is the final magical moment of your wedding day, running through all your favorite people before spending the rest of the evening in the beautiful Inn.

Q+A with Honeysuckle Traditions

Why do you love working at this venue?

I love working at Park Winters because every path, garden, and nook feels intentionally beautiful. Guests have so many areas to explore but what truly makes the experience unforgettable is how it makes you feel. The staff at Park Winters are incredibly welcoming and make everyone feel like royalty.

I will never forget my first site walk at Park Winters. We were exploring past the sunken garden when I spotted a passion fruit flower (my favorite flower!) right beside it was a honeysuckle vine. It felt like a universal sign, reminding me that I was exactly in the right place.

What is special about weddings at Park Winters?

Park Winters isn’t just a venue, it’s an experience you want to return to for years to come. Beyond your wedding day, the property has its own flower farm and a charming Inn where you can stay. From the wedding day itself to the weekend spent with loved ones, every moment here gives that “wow” factor.

How have you transformed the venue to customize it to your client?

For a summer wedding, my couple wanted their altar in front of the redwood trees. This is a space that many just pass by on the way from the sunken garden to the koi pond. Using the redwoods as a design thread, we incorporated them into the decor in a subtle, meaningful way. The officiant even brought a fallen redwood from his property to create vases for the centerpieces, reconnecting the natural beauty of the trees with guests during dinner. This was a subtle way to reconnect the redwood tree love portal back to your guests during dinner service.

What type of couple would love a wedding at Park Winters?

There is something for everyone at Park Winters! From lush formal gardens, to a modern Event Barn, the intimate Inn, and fairytale worthy backdrops, the property can adapt to any vision. If you’re a couple who loves a mix of natural beautiful + elegant details, you’ll fall in love with this space.

Do you have any insider tips for Park Winters weddings?

There is a little keyhole smoking nook just off the Event Barn lit with a stylish Edison bulb. It’s private, cozy and perfect for a cigar lounge or a quiet moment away from the crowds.

Ok one more for fun! The Park Winters Flower Farm is such a fun, versatile spot for your celebration gatherings. Think traditional bridal shower, brunch with your favorite people, or even a pick your own bouquet, or the dried flower experience. This is a space you can return to over the years for birthdays, baby showers, or even just to celebrate lifes milestones.

Park Winters is more than a one day kind of venue. It is open + welcoming, making it a place you’ll want to revisit as your love story grows.

What is the best area for sunset photos?

Honestly, everywhere! From the road leading onto the property, to the organic flower farm, romantic strolls around the pool, or the library balcony, the list is endless. One of my favorite things about this Park Winters is the big, open sky that transitions from bright blue to soft cotton candy hues, creating the idea backdrop for sunset photos.
