A Humble Event Planner with a Passion for
Bringing People Together

As a dedicated and passionate event planner, Carter has developed her skills over the past decade through a combination of personal experience, professional development, and a desire to create a unique and memorable experience for her clients.

Rooted in Southern hospitality, Carter creates a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere for her clients’ guests by infusing her events with charm and elegance.

In 2012, Carter embarked on a journey of adventure and discovery with the Sustainable Living Roadshow, where she gained experience in sustainable living + festival event planning.

After following her own love story and planting roots in Santa Cruz, Carter Coberly began her career in the wedding industry as an assistant coordinator at Kennolyn Events, where she learned the art of running seamless weddings and special events. She later joined Pasatiempo Golf Club as an Event Coordinator and within a few years rose to Director of Event + Catering Sales of the Hollins House. These experiences rooted in fine dining and upscale events, refined the expertise and calm, confident approach she now brings to every celebration.

Carter is now the owner of Honeysuckle Traditions, a boutique wedding planning company based in Grass Valley, CA. Dedicated to curating unforgettable weddings throughout Northern California, Honeysuckle Traditions is known for blending logistics and creativity to bring each couple’s unique love story to life.

As your wedding day logistics fairy and vibe curator, Carter ensures a stress-free, beautiful day—whether you’re dreaming of a grand soirée, a luxury farmhouse celebration, or something uniquely your own. Honeysuckle Traditions offers Partial Planning and Month-of Coordination packages, both customizable to fit your vision and budget.

She believe love is love and every wedding deserves to be celebrated in its most authentic, memorable way.

When she’s not planning your party, you can find her chasing her two little boys, exploring the Yuba River, stealing kisses from her husband, creating delicious garden to table creations like hot sauce, ice cream, and salsa. She also enjoys disconnecting from the day-to-day at Confluence Ranch.
